There is an MBTA fare increase  pending scheduled for the fall of 2009. Tell the MBTA how a more than 20% fare increase will affect you! The MBTA plans to raise our T fares more than 20% (in September or October) the 4th increase in 8 years . Transit riders are once again being forced to pay higher fares in an effort to pay off Big Dig debt  placed on the T by the State. Can we afford this No! Write and speak your testimony! Come out to the nearest public workshop/hearing and voice your opinion. Have a written copy of your story/testimony to hand in. If you cannot attend any of these workshops, mail your testimony to:  MBTA, Ten Park Plaza, Boston Ma, 02116 Attention Fare Proposal Committee,  or send an email to: fareproposal@mbta.com testimonies will be accepted through September 4, 2009. Get involved tell your friends and anyone who rides the T to get involved!!
