My First Blogging Assignment
Hello, my name is S. C. Burns. I am a dedicated, positive and trustworthy individual currently attending the Crittenton Women’s Union, Women to Women 12 weeks program started on September 20th 2010. The program includes computer training: Basic Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint; workshops: Higher Ed, Career Exploration, Financial Literacy and Life Skills. My goals at the end of these 12 weeks are: (1) to have been able to represent myself through my written and verbal skills, (2) establish contacts, (3) get offered a new job, and (4) job stability.
I belief that to each person it’s right to live a healthy, rich full and problem free lifestyle should be granted without opposition. In addition to, my beliefs, I know with persistence, dedication and excellent recommendations that a positive overview of life’s vision would come to practicality.
Over the past seven years I have had many different obstacles. I’ve faced them with a positive and motivational spirit. First, with employment my decision to resign from a Bookkeeper position then to a Payroll/Accounts Payable Clerk position and became unemployed because of company downsizing and reorganizing positioned me on a path of seeking the perfect boss and job roles [in other words – just what the doctor ordered]. Secondly, a subject to a housing system that causes the challenged men and women to be unsatisfied about their lives and shift their scheduled personal and professional time towards another who preoccupy their social and leisure time with advancing opportunities.
My major topic which is my means to continued being, education and self worthiness is employment. This has been very mind boggling for over a year, 250 resume and cover letter writing (an estimate) and approximately about five organizations programs. As I continue to search for a position with many great responsibilities that challenges me daily I utilize my time with advancing my skills in training programs. Why is it such a huge demand on having a degree for a position that an experience with training certificate can do? Is it realistic to use the many resources I have used and haven’t earned a job? For instance Career Centers, internet including online resume posting. However, been aware of networking, blogging, twittering and how effective this form of media communication can increase my responses I have avoided exploring these online interactions.
